What to do when the surgery is closed.
Life-threatening emergencies
Dial 999 immediately. This includes chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, breathing difficulties, severe allergic reactions, or unconsciousness.
Urgent but non-life-threatening
Phone NHS 111: free, 24/7. They will assess your symptoms and direct you to the right service: pharmacy, out-of-hours GP, A&E, or self-care advice.
You can also use the NHS 111 online service.
When to think about each

111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It is fast, easy and free. Call 111 and speak to a highly trained adviser, supported by healthcare professionals. They will ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.
NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.

Practice education closure dates
Our practice closes for staff training from 12pm on the dates below, in line with all other Doncaster practices.
Emergency cover is available through 111.
The surgery will open at 8am the following morning as usual.
