If you call the practice during these times you will be informed that you will be automatically diverted to the ‘out-of-hours’ service if your call is urgent, if not please hang up the phone. If divert fails the listen to the message which relays the direct telephone number show above.
The Thursday afternoon cover is provided by Care UK on behalf of the practice and all other Out-of-Hours times are covered by NHS 111 or www.nhs.uk/111.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
